Dunedin --> Te Anau

Now that I'm safely here in Te Anau (where it snowed this morning!!! but didn't stick, on the roads at least), I can say that the morning I woke up in Dunedin (Wow. That was yesterday) I was exhausted. I felt a wee bit out of sorts and just slow and fuzzy. The previous day, on my way into town, I'd noted a sweet cafe called The Good Earth and hoped I'd make it back around to that spot and it turned out my motel was a few blocks away. My alarm went off at 7AM, but I fell back asleep and startled awake at 9:15AM with 45 minutes to get out of the room. I had no problems getting out in time, but felt the need to take it slowly the rest of the morning. I had a delicious breakfast at The Good Earth and then went on a walk through the gardens again.
